On Thursday Morning I had my colonoscopy and we have found some answers to my recent immediate problems in my colon. I have a bacterial infection in the lining of my stomach called Clostridium difficile (C-Diff). On top of that I have mild colitis and internal hemorrhoids. All of these together are causing me extreme pain in my stomach and lower abdomen.
Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with my Chiari Malformation. I am still waiting to hear back from the Chiari Clinic in Wisconsin to see if I have been accepted as a patient. The only thing that has changed is that I will have to undergo extensive antibiotic treatment for 2 weeks before I go. So I am taking 3 antibiotic sa day for 14 days to try to take care of the C-diff.
Through it all, I thank God that he has allowed me to find some answers and I am hopeful that this is just the begging of a long process of healing and recovery.
Specific prayer requests:
-That my body can tolerate the antibiotics.
-continued discernment for the Chiari Clinic doctors.
-God will lead me in the right path for healing.
Dear Abby, it is a long list, but I agree with your relief of getting some results at last. I think of Adam's time in Eden when his dominionship was expressed by his privilege to name everything. If you can name it, you own it - and hopefully heal completely, too. All the best for your journey. :-) Marina A. (Boston)
